This is the RISC OS 5 disc image. It includes all of the disc-based components required to boot and run a RISC OS 5 system, including:
- Boot sequence
- Configuration plug-ins
- Screensaver applications
- Network setup utility
- Desktop applications and utilities
- Games
It is currently a work in progress with some known issues:
- It’s only really been tested on a Beagle Board so may miss some important bits for an IYONIX pc
- The full range of fonts are not yet present
Note that if extracting to/from an SD card via a USB card reader you’ll need to be very patient. This can be avoided by doing the entire extraction on the RAM disc (30MB will be more than adequate) before moving to your memory stick.
