*ChannelVoice

Use

This *Command assigns a voice to a channel.

Syntax

*ChannelVoice channel voice_number_|_voice_name

Parameters

channel Channel number (1 – 8)
voice_number Voice number (1 – 16; or 0 to mute)
voice_name Voice name as returned by *Voices

Notes

By default, only the first of the eight voices will be available. To make others available, use the BASIC VOICES n command. Do not confuse the BASIC VOICE keyword with the *Voices *Command.
