*DOSMap

Use

This *Command specifies a mapping between an MS-DOS extension and a RiscOS file-type.

Syntax

*DOSMap [MS-DOS_extension [filetype]]

Parameters

MS-DOS_extension MS-DOS file extension (up to 3 characters in length)
filetype 3 digit filetype number, or filetype name

Notes

The filetype number should be preceded with an ampersand symbol, otherwise it is interpreted as a filetype name.

If the only parameter given is an MSDOS extension, then the mapping (if any) for that extension is cancelled. If no parameter is given, then all current mappings are listed.

The mappings are only retained until the next reset.
