*Dismount

Use

This *Command ensures that it is safe to finish using a disc.

Syntax

*Dismount [disc_spec ]

Parameters

disc_spec Name or number of the disc drive

Notes

Buffers are flushed, files are closed, local caches discarded, directories and libraries unset, disc names annulled and, if appropriate, disc-reading heads are parked.
