*ShutDown

Use

This *Command prepares all filing systems for a system shutdown.

Syntax

*ShutDown

Parameters

None.

Notes

All ShutDown is closes all open files on all filing systems, logs off all NetFS file servers and parks hard disc heads.

Because this command closes all open files, this command must not be used within a multi-tasking environment. This is because it may close files belonging to other applications, resulting in errors and loss of work.
