Entry Bit Meaning when set
R5 0 R1 = pointer to sprite, otherwise R1 = pointer to sprite name
  1 Use current palette if sprite doesn’t have one (otherwise default palette)

Notes

R5 is used to store set flags to determine what other registers contain.
