OS_ File 9

(SWI &08)
Entry
R0 9 (reason code)
R1 Pointer to filename
R2 Load address (for date/time stamp)
R3 Execution address (for date/time stamp)
Exit
All registers preserved

Use

The purpose of this call is to write the date/time stamp information for a named object.

Notes

The date/time stamp is stored using two 32-bit fields that would otherwise store the load address and execution address for a file. Information on how the date/time stamp is stored is available here

The file type is set to @FFD if not already.

There are several different reason codes that can be used to write various catalogue information using the OS_File call.
