This is a development version of RISC OS 5 for the RiscPC, A7000/A7000+, and RiscPC emulators such as RPCEmu. Although most features are working, there are still several significant problems:
- No floppy support
- Control-break and other software reset methods will hang the machine
- Playing music via Maestro is likely to cause a crash. Other sound/music players may be unstable too.
- Correct operation on machines lacking 16bit sound hasn’t been verified
- No DMAManager module
- No code to handle keyboard scanning at boot. Therefore the shift/R/Delete/etc. boot modifiers won’t work.
- No support for Kinetic cards
- The internet stack is present but there aren’t any hardware drivers. So you’ll have to find your own 32bit-compatible drivers for any network cards/podules.
