Having now got a Raspberry Pi I am starting to update my software accordingly. Today I uploaded a new version of Fade (my slideshow application) and Docktor (an application dock) to my site.

Fade does have an outstanding issue, but it is proving difficult to track down. This is not Raspberry Pi related.

What is Raspberry Pi related is that my Pi seems unstable but I am hoping it’s the rather ancient SD card that I was using. This means neither of these have been tested as much as I would like.

I have also added a news page to my site which I will attempt to keep updated.

Instability is normally power related on the Pi. The PSU itself or the cable. Price does not seem to be related to quality!

This was my first thought. However after trying two different power supplies (not exhaustive testing I know) and then fiddling with the SD card a few times it became apparent that fiddling with the card was having more effect than fiddling with the power supply.

< touches wood>So far the cheap Tesco replacement card has done the trick.</touches wood>.
