filetypes and !SparkFS

in the Resources directory what filetype should SparkFS be? what about ImageFSfix? i am trying to open up SparkFS. |

It should be an application directory !SparkFS (i.e. a normal directory that starts with a ‘!’) containing its various files, !Run, !RunImage, etc. |

What are you actually trying to accomplish? It sounds like you’ve downloaded SparkFS and unzipped it on another platform (such as Windows) and are now trying to “reassemble” it under RISC OS. That is the wrong approach. You should unzip the file within RISC OS. You should already have SparkFS in the Utilities directory. If for some reason you don’t have it then download the self-extracting HardDisc4 from here [Edit: Or the self-extracting SparkFS!] then set its file type to Utility and double-click. This will produce a new Utilities directory with a working SparkFS (among other things). |

What Chris said… But for what it’s worth, SparkFS and ImageFSfix are modules. |
