Youtube download?

Is there any way of downloading a Youtube video so that it can be played on RISC OS using FFMPEG, KinoAmp or other app combination? I’m using Otter to browse (thanks, Chris, for the latest upgrade BTW) but that doesn’t have the required plugin to run the video natively AFAIK. |

There’s youtube-dl, which works on Linux and Windows, but I would assume that it doesn’t work in RISC OS. Maybe you’re actually asking ‘is there any way of downloading a youtube video with RISC OS’, and you may already have known about youtube-dl, but I thought I’d post just in case. |

@Kevin: thanks, it looks like Murnong is what I need (funnily enough, I had already downloaded it – maybe I’ve been over this road before, but had forgotten – not an unusual occurrence these days….). And thanks for the other replies. |
