The new BBC BASIC reference manual

Hello, I would have liked to visit the RISC OS London show, unfortunately it wasn’t possible for me at that time. I noticed there’s an amazon link on the October 23rd news article, though it seems to be currently unavailable. Does anyone know when it will become available there? Regards, |

If my memory serves me correctly then the last couple of book releases have been available from the ROOL Store before they’ve been on Amazon. It might still be a few days before it shows up though. |

I’d this the same one that comes in DDE27 for basic or is it an updated one? Thanks |

I’ll get mine at Webbington. Don’t want to be distracted form learning c before I finish the current project. |

I have had my new manual for a few weeks now and I am very pleased with the contents. Thank you for the update. But, I find the binding of the new one a pain compared to the Archimedes 400 Series manual I have had for 20 odd years. So much so, that I have gone back to the original which still works for me (in most cases!). I also use my original, 20 year old, Acorn Programmers Reference Manual as a first choice for the same reason. They all just lie open flat on the desk leaving me with both hands free. . |
