Identifying Summer Time

Is there a way from BASIC that I can identify whether it is Summer Time or not? |

You could use… Otherwise you can use OS_Byte to read CMOS byte 220. Both the above reflect if DST is active … you can also read the standard start/end of DST using Territory_DaylightSaving. |

Excellent. Thank You. The integer value from SYS “Territory_DaylightSaving”,-1,0 gives me what I need. Although, as I mis-read your answer the first time, just to be sure, on RC15, I need the AND 1 to tell me if it is actually British Summer Time (end of March to end of October) if switch automatically is set? |

Bit 0 of r0% will be 1 if DST is active. So yes, you need the AND 1. |

Thank you. Yes, I have turned DST on manually to test this. I will be the only user with this software, so that will not be a problem. |
