If I SHIFT drag twenty draw files onto a 20 page blank ArtWorks file I would like it to place one on each page. At the moment it just plonks them all on top of each other on the displayed page.

Isn’t this something that you should be directing towards the ArtWorks developer? I doubt that ROOL can do much.

Fair point.

“..I would like it to place one on each page.” Fine for the ‘one-pic-per-page’ scenario, but supposing one wanted sometimes one per page, sometimes two per page, etc? If ArtWorks could display simultaneous thumbnails of every page, onto which files could be dragged, that might indeed be useful, but I have no idea how difficult that would be to implement. As pointed out, it’s a job for Martin Wuerthner in any case. Personally I find it so quick to navigate a multi-page ArtWorks file using the Page Up/Down keys, in conjunction with Adjust-clicking to keep image editing dialogue boxes open, that I’m not sure the gain would be worth the effort.

I am impressed. After making this request to Martin on show day, ArtWorks 2×2.01 (1-Mar-2014) was created which has the following functionality added. CTRL-drag a group of Draw files onto the blank page of an empty multi-page ArtWorks window and the draw files are placed, one on each page, positiond as for a SHIFT-drag, i.e. placed on the page as the Draw file specifies with the origin at (0,0). Wow! That’s service for you.
