core only ROS build?

I do, indeed, mean the Pico build. Are they not the same thing? |

RISC OS Pico is something that a reader will be able to Google and find if they see it mentioned in a forum post. “the ‘core only’ RISC OS build” is a term that could mean anything. If you mean RISC OS Pico, you should probably say RISC OS Pico, for the benefit of people stumbling across this thread in months/years to come. |

If you mean RISC OS Pico, you should probably say RISC OS Pico, I have edited my post to say this, thanks. Screenshot (in MODE 21) of the fruit machine simulation is here: |

No, it is quite clear. The “core only” build. After all, if Google is supposed to be so damn smart, it can figure this stuff out for itself. And not reply with irrelevant rubbish from StackOverflow or a dozen usenet filchers. |

Look, if google actually wanted you to find stuff without having to view adverts and promoted links they would allow +"my search" -“porno” to work properly, like it used to do. As it is, the primary add-on for firefox is “ghostery” – there is a slight issue with a white vertical stripe down the right hand side of google links pages though |

Wasn’t it Altavista that did that? I’d still like to teach Google that
? There’s nothing at all on the right hand side of Google results. Maybe ABP and NoScript are doing their jobs. A lot of sites are quicker, cleaner, and don’t waste time looking up dozens of domains for the bolt-on rubbish. 1 I have wondered if it would be possible to fiddle with the Livebox’s firewall to drop connections to specific IP addresses, like say 173.194.34.39?3 ;-) 2 There is a version of Firefox for Android. It is capable of making a dual core 1GHz phone about as fast and responsive as running Windows95 on the RiscPC’s x86 co-processor. 3 Type that into a browser, Google’s main page will appear. Clever. It’s the address ping gives me for analytics.google.com (google.com appears to be 173.194.67.94). |

Yes, but it used to work in Google as well. It’s been broken for some time :( |
