*SaveModeFile

Traduction en cours

Usage

This *Command saves the currently active list of mode definitions to disc, creating a Monitor Definition File?. It is perhaps most useful when the machine has been configured to use EDID, as it will allow you to see the full list of modes that were extracted from the EDID (compared to, e.g. the display manager, which will only show the modes which the GPU is capable of displaying).

Syntax

*SaveModeFile filename

Parameters

filename Name of file to create

Notes

Specifying vdu: as the filename will cause the output to be printed directly to the screen.
