Macro keys

Three keys on the bottom row of the keyboard (the two “flag” keys and the “menu” key) can be configured to perform predetermined actions. This is done via Configure > Keyboard which allows you to assign a command to each of the keys. For example, you can set a key to open a directory or run an application by dragging the appropriate icon to the input field on the Keyboard configuration window.

Icon bar interactions

  • Hovering the mouse at the very bottom of the screen will temporarily bring the icon bar to the front if it’s hidden behind other windows.
  • If there are too many icons on the icon bar for them to all fit on screen at once, hovering the mouse at either end of the icon bar will scroll it in the corresponding direction.
  • Dragging a file to a device icon will send it to that device.
  • Dragging a file to an application will open it in that application.
  • Dragging a file to an empty space on the icon bar has the same effect as double-clicking on the file (i.e. the file will be run/opened as appropriate).
