Wimp_ProcessKey

(SWI &400DC)
Entry
R0 Character Code
Exit
R0 Corrupt

Use

The purpose of this call is twofold:

  1. Pass on un-used keypresses that the task has been notified of via the Wimp_Poll (Key_Pressed event code)
  2. Insert keypresses into the Wimp buffer

Notes

A task must pass on keypresses that it does not use, to ensure that other tasks get notified of them too.

Characters passed on take precedence over characters in the keyboard buffer when notifying tasks.
