Prerequisites If you want to softload these drivers on older releases of RISC OS (e.g. 3.6 or 3.7) you must have an up to date C library installed (SharedCLibrary 5.34 or later, and CallASWI 0.02 or later). Updated versions can be found in the "System Resources" archive on the "Miscellaneous downloads":/content/downloads/common page. If you are already running RISC OS 5, you do not need to download the "System Resources" archive. h3. ROM upgrade It is also possible to upgrade the flash memory in the EtherH and EtherY cards, instead of softloading the drivers. This archive contains the necessary reprogramming tools. For EtherB and EtherM cards, RISC OS Open also sell replacement ROM chips containing upgraded drivers - see the "EtherB":/content/sales/etherb-rom and "EtherM":/content/sales/etherm-rom page pages respectively. Alternatively you can softload the drivers as mentioned above. h3. Obtaining these drivers Go to "RiscPC downloads":/content/downloads/riscpc and download the NIC drivers archive.
