Commandline MPEG player, 32bit compatible version?

Hi there guys, I have read there used to be a free commandline-based MPEG player for Risc OS (I just need it to play .MPG files with video & audio), called simply “mpeg”. However, is there a 32bit compatible version of it? Where can I find it? Thanks!! |

If you simply want to play MPEG files, you’d be better off using KinoAmp instead. For reference though, this application appears to match the description you provided, although I doubt it would be of much use these days. |

Thanks, Cameron. KinoAmp doesn’t look to be able to work from the command console, does it? By anyway, thanks for trying :) |

Not sure what you will do. FFPlay is a command line tool. |

Or maybe the mplayer binary inside !Mplayer? |

@Andrew: mplayer binary crashes when trying to pass -fs to play fullscreen, so its a no go. |

Try Christopher Martins Alpha. Works here without “alignment exceptions off”. |
