*Share

Use

This *Command makes a local directory available as a shared disc.

Syntax

*Share directory [disc_name] [-protected] [-cdrom] [-noicon] [-readonly]

Parameters

directory Valid pathname of a directory
disc_name Name to use for the shared disc
-protected Make directory protected (default is unprotected)
-cdrom Indicates that shared directory is on a CD-ROM
-noicon Prevent an icon appearing for the shared disc
-readonly Specify shared disc as read only

Notes

If no disc_name is provided, the name of the directory is used, or in the case of root directory, the disc name itself.
