The Programmer’s Reference Manual has been written to provide detailed information on the inner working of the RISC OS operating system. With this information you will be able to understand and develop programs that run on RISC OS.

Manual Structure

The Manual has been divided into separate parts to allow easy access to information. For example; within the Desktop part, you will find information on the Window Manager, Pinboard and TaskWindow to name but a few.
