ROOL Mouse Mat Project

Posted by Steve Revill Tue, 17 Apr 2007 18:49:00 GMT

We at ROOL are planning to start selling mouse mats to help raise funds to contribute towards our work on the Shared Source RISC OS project. We are planning on having a “map of the RISC OS community” as the mouse mat design. All of the profits that we make from selling the mouse mats and from donations are put towards administration of the Shared Source RISC OS project. The project is reaching a new phase now so all contributions are very welcome!

If you would like us to include your organisation/web site in our design, please donate some money (e.g. £10-20) via the link at the side of this page, then drop us an email at mousemat@riscosopen.org which includes the following information:

  • The name you used for the donation (so we can check it has arrived)
  • Your organisation’s name or web site title
  • A (vector) graphic version of your organisation logo
  • The URL you want us to include
  • An indication of what your organisation does (so we can group things)

We’ll give you a free mouse mat once we have produced them (either if we see you at the Wakefield show, or by post if you tell us an address to send to). The deadline for requests to be on the mouse mat design is Monday 23rd April.

We are doing our very best to make this all happen so please don’t feel you are donating your money for nothing.

Hello to you all! Thank you very much for the generous response to this project. The finished design has now gone to the printers so any further submissions cannot be included.

The mouse mats should be going on sale at the Wakefield show. If you’re not attending, we will also be selling them via this web site.

We are pleased to add that the completed mouse mats have now arrived back from the printers and we’re very happy with the way they look. Hopefully, you’ll all love them , too!
