Use
This *Command repairs a new floppy disc for use, or erases a used disc for re-use.
Syntax
*Format drive [format [disc_name]] [Y]
Parameters
| drive | Number of the disc drive (0 – 3) |
| format | Type of disc format required (available types here) |
| disc_name | Name of new disc |
| Y | No prompt for confirmation required |
Notes
The default disc format to use is ‘F’. This format offers improved file management and reduced file fragmentation.
