Weird AMU/objasm error

Hi. I have a weird error happening, I wonder if anybody has come across. I suspect an update of the DDE may have caused this, but I can’t pin it down to when as the assembler parts of my code are not rebuilt anything near as frequently as the C parts. TaskWindow says this: Stamp c.main BASIC -quit makeversion objasm -APCS 3/32bit -desktop -Depend !Depend -ThrowBack -Stamp -IC:, -from s.backtrace -to o.backtrace ARM AOF Macro Assembler 4.05 (Acorn Computers Ltd) [19 Mar 2018] Error: File "s.backtrace" could not be opened Assembly terminated: 1 Error, 0 Warnings AMU: *** exit (1) *** Throwback says this: Errors in file: SDFS::RISCOSPi.$.Coding.Projects.Project.!MyProject.s.s.backtrace Line Type Description 0 Error File "s.backtrace" could not be opened Note that the path in the Throwback says “.s” twice. The MakeFile says: ObjAsmflags = -APCS 3/32bit -desktop -Depend !Depend -ThrowBack -Stamp -IC:, [...] s_files = o.dadebgptch o.backtrace [...] # A macro for building the assembler code .s.o:; objasm $(objasmflags) -from $< -to $@ (the rest is related to C or linking) The problem goes away if I remove the “ Has anybody seen this before? Any ideas as to what’s different? 1 Writing MakeFiles is a very big pain – I think it’s safest to say “I wrote one once” as all the rest are copied from that one with modifications applied as appropriate for the project in question. ;-) |
