Hi, first things first. I’m Steve, and I’m new here. I installed RISCOS on my Raspberry Pi 3 Model B, on a 16GB card, the OS itself seems to run fine and quick but I came across an issue. When I try to play a game, Blobwars in this case, all interaction between mouse and icons is lost, please, can anyone shed any light on this? Here’s a video to explain what I mean. Please excuse the sideways view, I don’t know what happened there but I did have the camera on its side to attemp landscape mode. |

Its hard locked the system? Going by the info on this page its using SharedUnixLibrary which will need updating to the latest version to work on a Pi 3. I think you can update it via PackMan – you should have an icon on your desktop. I’m also assuming that the game code is ARMv7 compatible. As it’s available via PackMan it “should” be. |

Using !Blobwars as found on PackMan the stopper is that this is an old build containing code not supported by the RPi3 processor. Specifically this is the SWP machine code instruction. The good news is that an app to replace the SWPs with code that does work exists. (See bottom of page.) The patched result does start up on my RPi3B+. Note that there is no iconbar icon. |

I just spotted its in the armv5 package list, so that confirms it’s not compatible with a Pi3. Is SharedUnixLib via PackMan ARMv7 compatible yet? |
