riscos.info site not accessible
Hi, Trying to access the riscos.info site gives: RISC OS has a problem Sorry! This site is experiencing technical issues. Try waiting a few minutes and reload. (Can’t contact the database server:too many connections (localhost)) It has been like this for a few days. Anyone else having issues and know how to contact the admin? |
He posts here, so will probably see this thread, but I’ve just sent an email, too. |
Thanks Steve. |
Seems like the site is down again. |
And back up again , so thanks to who ever resurrected it again. |
Looks like it’s down again.. |
/packages/pkg/raspberrypi and autobuilt are both blank today. Has anyone considered moving the packages hosted in raspberrypi across to packages.riscosopen.org? |
Some signs of life … http://www.riscos.info/index.php/Packages Links to software are not working … |
I just downloaded the Curl app from there OK. |
http://www.riscos.info With thanks to whoever sorted it. |
Oh no!!! It’s down again. |
;) Oh no, it isn’t! ;) I wonder whether having a copy of the Package management environment on the ROOL site is feasible. Would PackMan cope with having two lists active with the same information? Alternatively, as suggested above, how achievable is moving it? Is the motivation there to do it- spare time, cost implications? |
Yes, no, maybe… Aren’t these packages put together by an autobuilder? Or is it just a repository of prebuilt things? To my mind, given the various incarnations of things floating around (like WebJames), the primary concern I’d have is synchronisation to ensure that the clone repositories carry the same builds of things. |
Oh no!!! It’s down again. 😀Oh yes, it is!😀 The page at http://www.riscos.info gives ‘RISC OS has a problem. Sorry! This site is experiencing technical difficulties.’ PackMan is working however. The autobuilder’s svn repository is also down. |

RISC OS has only one problem?! What a great news! ;-) No that isn’t fun really. |
