Pi ROM - not too old, not to new

Hi all. I have a little problem. The current RC14 ROM for the Pi has some problems on my setup. When I switch my hub from the PC to the Pi, keyboard and/or mouse becomes sometimes very slow. Keyboard is slow too on my Lapdock. The classic USB stack problem. Probably solved since a long time. Is there somewhere a low vector ROM newer than mine, but old enough to be compatible with Aemulor (very important requirement)? |

Due to inherent untidiness I found a Pi Beta tarball from 12 Apr 16, a low vector build, done just now, from that is here I think that predates the “Aemulor doesn’t work any more” event. P.S. A search of this forum suggests Aemulor may have got broken in September. |

Thanks. I’ll try this one, while searching for an august ROM :) |

OK, problem half-solved on the Lapdock. I need to look now at the other config. A Pi B. |

For the Pi B, it’s between a power issue and a software issue. |

I tried some newer ROM. Keyboard and mouse both reconnect more easily. But, if I make big transfers between several USB discs, the OS crashes after a few minutes. So I switched back to RC14 for now. Please note that I use an USB device as main storage system, as this Pi B as a problem with its SD port (card is not detected). I could perhaps compile my own kernel to make it believe that a card is present. Or I can also hope for a fix to keyboard issues in VNCServ, and use this Pi from a Pi 3. |
