USB WiFi Adapter? (Newbie).

I thought I should give RISC OS a try and I’ve just installed it onto a Pi. I was a little surprised to find that it didn’t find the WiFi dongle plugged into the USB and further surprised when the most relevant thing I found on a web search was a three year old post saying that it should be coming soon… So what’s the latest? |

I don’t know. Wireless networking is possible, but you’ll have to utilise something like a TP-LINK wireless Nano (travel) router . I’ve used one in the past to connect my RISC PC to my wireless router, so it should be pretty straight forward and they are relatively inexpensive – if you shop around. |

Similar idea – the Vonets VAP11G. Pretty much “set it and forget it”. |

If I understand that right, there you are connecting to an ethernet network that connects wirelessly to a wifi network; you’re not actually connecting wirelessly yourself? |

Is it simply that nobody has yet written the relevant software/drivers? Yes. |
