Pipedream functionality removed

Between Pipedream 4.50 and 4.54 the ability to use control-key combinations to execute menu functions disappeared. I regretted this, because I used them quite a lot.

Recently I had occasion to use Pipedream extensively under VRPc on a laptop that doesn’t have a menu key. As I was offline at the time, I couldn’t find a way to configure the Windows key to do the job, but fortunately I hadn’t updated pipedream, so was able to use the control-key combinations.

Accordingly, I’m definitely not going to run recent versions on that laptop.

Just turn on Choices > Classic Menus from the icon bar menu. :-) The ‘New Menus’ introduced in PipeDream 4.56 are rather more Style Guide (Issue 3) compliant, with S.G. key sequences, whereas ‘Classic Menus’ sticks with the distinctly-pre-S.G. ones.
