While almost anything is more pleasant to use than VI (or any of its spawn) I can’t see the point of using any such editor on an OS that is so GUI centric and has a number of prime candidates for doing any such editing. Two such GUI editors are, purely in my order of preference: StrongED and Zap Now if you can point us at something that nano can edit that those two cannot then the authors will probably modify them so they can. 1 No longer used as someone decided that since I was the only person in house that understood FreeRADIUS we had to have a “proper, supported” RADIUS implementation and shelled out for Cisco ISE and annual support. |

Obvious use for nano would be integration into RISC OS Pico. |
