Over £1000 waiting to be claimed

Having quickly totted up the current levels of the bounties (and excluding the ROOL admin pot) I note that there is over £1000 sat there waiting to be paid to one or more brave developers who decide to come along and claim them. OK, I admit £260 of that is going towards ROOL putting some development loan systems together, but there’s still lots to be had.
In other news, we’re looking at the suggested file system bounties from Rob Sprowson with the intention of doing something about that before the London Show which is now in just two weeks.

One thing I should like to see is a free download aimed at non-RISC OS users who possess a Beagleboard XM. The free capacity on the SD card is sufficient to hold a ramdisk image as well as the riscos ROM and cmos and a ‘user’ script so that by pressing the USER button RISC OS would load with a fully functioning network. A small amount of programming effort is required to force RISC OS to load the RAM disk from the SD card if the CMOS calls for it and the file ‘ramboot’ (say) exists on the SD card – this is already done for the file ‘cmos’ so should be trivial.
The necessary (full) !Boot image for a RAMDisk is already tested, see here
Noone can do this except you guys because of copyright. Now if we could bundle NetSurf and some Help files so that new users could be attracted…
What about getting it on a magazine cover CD?
