Ticket #408 (Open)Mon Apr 27 22:06:59 UTC 2015

Edit magic char search for \n results in an invisible found selection

Reported by: Sprow (202) Severity: Minor
Part: RISC OS: Application Release:
Milestone: Status Open

Details by Sprow (202):

As \n is unique in not having any display representation in !Edit, if you search for \n in magic char mode the found selection is of zero width. In the cut & paste world the rules say that should show the caret, whereas it shows a zero width selection (ie. nothing).

The ‘found’ function needs to special case a zero length selection and force the caret back on.
